Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is a common condition in which a person sweats excessively. Axillary Hyperhidrosis is the name given to excessive sweating in the underarm area for which Botox treatment can be a life changing procedure as it works brilliantly to reduce the sweating.

Treatment

The treatment is relatively straightforward and takes about 20minutes. Multiple botox injections are placed in the affected areas through a microneedle. Discomfort is minimal and results can start to be seen from 1 week after the treatment, lasting on average 6 months.

Botox is clinically proven to be a safe and effective treatment for hyperhidrosis, with little or no down time at all.

Frequently asked Questions

How does it work?

The toxin works by blocking the chemical at the end of the nerves so that it cannot work on the glands or muscles. In the case of the sweat glands it turns then off to reduce sweating.

Where does the sweat go?

Your sweat doesn’t go anywhere or get backed up because the sweat simply is not produced in the treated areas. Remember, the rest of your body is free to produce moisture normally
